I’m a 39-year-old pastor at ONE Fellowship in Charleston, SC. Before that, I planted Redemption Church in Seattle, WA in 2014 and served as pastor of Preaching & Ministry for the next 5 years. Prior to serving in these roles, I have pastored in very diverse areas from medium to mega churches. I hold a B.A. in Pastoral Studies with a minor in Psychology from Cedarville University as well as a Master of Theological Studies from Liberty University. I am a regular contributing author to Keylife.org with over a dozen articles on leadership, Christian living, and grief.

I’v been married to my amazing wife Laura for more than 15 years. We have lived in Atlanta, Seattle, and Charleston throughout the years. After 7 years of infertility, in 2019 through the process of domestic infant adoption, Silas Jaxon Hensley joined the family! He is now a 4-year-old that’s full of energy and exploration and goes by the nickname “Smilas” because of his infectious and constant smile. As a family, we enjoy cooking together, trips to the mountains, and time at the beach.
